Dear Toby,
there is a special SPM mailing list managed by Veeco. There are all the SPM people who might help you.

You can reach the person managing the list at

Concerning your problem:
Mounting cantilevers is really a tricky thing. I have no experience with your particular SPM, but IMHO there is no easy way to do that.

I am mounting Silicon cantilevers on Omicron VT-AFM Piezo mounts with.
two part heat -set epoxy. The mounts are reusable but after some wear
and tear the ceramic on the mount becomes worn. I expect maybe one in
every 3 cantilevers to be misaligned for laser sighting but this ratio
has dropped significantly. Does anyone have any helpful solutions for
precision cantilever mounting? And purpose built mounting stages etc?
I have the Omicron AFM mounting stage which is almost useless for
helping mount cantilevers.
