Acquiring Prepared Slides

To help focus more on this subject, I am posting it as a separate
discussion.

I wish to acquire sets of slides of various subjects for viewing.

The "various subjects" is a broad stroke because of my many interests.

What is the best approach to do this for money, quality and time.

How did you acquire your collections?
