I wish to acquire sets of slides of various subjects for viewing.

The "various subjects" is a broad stroke because of my many interests.

What is the best approach to do this for money, quality and time.

Do you have a list of the slides you want?
I made the slides in my collection (some 15 000 I suppose) myself over a
period of more than 30 years.
