Using reflected-light DIC for biology?

Dear all
Does anyone have any experience using reflected-light DIC for imaging
biological specimens? I'm aware reflected light is typically used for
semiconductors. I'm in a lab doing that kind of thing, but I would
like to use the equipment to look at microtubules with video-
enhancement. We have a Leica DM4000-M.
Regards
Jon
