I came across this a while ago. It's great that they are being so
generous as to publish this database. There seems to be much interest
in protists in Japan but I don't know why. Anyway, sharing
information, without greedy middlemen such as Elseveir, is to be
applauded.

thanks for your reply. I agree: sharing information without greedy middlemen
(such as Jstor as another case) is the engine that will logarithmically
boost the science. In this connection my acclaim goes to Pubmed.
