condenser holder suitable for this item. Is there any of you to suggest a
place where to find it?

Thanks

Helio, let me recommend taking the microscope to a qualified repair
tech. Sounds like it needs to be stripped down, cleaned and re-
lubricated.

Kevin,
by rummaging through I found at the interior of the base that this scope
comes from a German academy of medicine, and it appears in very good
exterior conditions. I didn't try to strip it down, because I've already
lost a Zeiss nosepiece full of little greased balls I was unable to put back
together, and a Zeiss body that after my intervention doesn't work the way
it arrived in my house. So, I've confined myself to dismount a bit the
stage-carrier and to rinse it with all the lubricants and cleaners I own,
without
success. So, I will follow your advice scrupulously, and, if possible,
resend the scope to Germany where it comes from, to the house suggested
by Kevin Sunley in his previous post.
Many thanks for your attention

Hello, have you already released the brake of this microscopic stand?
