T:
You're not the reincarnation of the famous Marshal are you?
Edward,
I'd be glad to answer your question if I knew the famous Marshal
you're referring to.
T:
I was kidding and referring to the late Marshall Tito (aka Josip Broz) of
Yugoslavia.
: ))
Thanks, but as Italian, and narcissistically, I prefer to consider some
local personnage, like Titus the emperor.

Given the quality of your English, the cheapness of international phone
calls and the amiability of the Brownells' people, my guess would be an
email or call would be rewarding if you wanted to pursue contact further.
They would probably be amused by your need of the tools for microscope
work. Unfortunately, the US postal service has eliminated international
surface mail and now only offers air service which is very expensive. The
postal clerk I spoke with said the elimination was because "Nobody wanted
it", which I find a patent falsehood given that it was about a third of
the air rate, though considerably slower. Whether competing commercial
carriers offer a surface rate would be worth knowing.
Thanks for the appreciation of my English that, unfortunately, isn't mine,
because I write under the assistance of a friend. I never had the good luck
and the time to study your grammar, so my true English is a bizarre pidgin
where only 50% of the phrase is right.
Apart this, you have centered the problem I lately got with my overseas
buys: the elevated fees of the US postal service. I simulated the purchase
of some hardware from www.brownells.com , but they asked me to submit my
order (including data of my Visa card) before telling me the shippping
charges,
so I chose another example from www.pyramydair.com : subtotal $ 82.69,
shipping and handling to Italy $ 72.75. I remember a time when buying from
US was very convenient, because the shipping charges were low and the
merchandise's price was lower than in Italy. Anyway, I renew my thanks for
your kind suggestion.
In any event, you are welcome. The only other thing I can suggest is to
look for hand tools that have a lifetime replacement policy. Once you
determine what brands have a local dealer network, you can buy used
versions on Ebay at a great discount off new retail and be assured they
can always be exchanged unless there is obvious evidence of abuse. But as
you won't be putting a 3' pipe on a hex key working on microscopes, that
shouldn't be a problem.
This seems to me a really good approach, and in later months I'm acting this
way relatively to the microscope hardware, apart the detail that I'm more
and more buying from the www.eBay.de for the reasons I mentioned above.
Best regards
Tito
