After having send a few pounds of clothes to New
Zealand by USPS (U.S. Postal Service) Air for four times more than they
cost me, I think it is time to look into alternative surface transport; if
there is an option, I will report

My last experience with surface transport was a microscope stand I bought
from Canada in August and I received after three months. So, actually, I
have to narrow my purchases to Germany, because England is too expensive: a
keychain laser pointer (value £ 4.25) from Maplin would cost me £ 22.99 (£
3.42 VAT, £ 15.32 postage).
..
In the case you are local, some of the fossiliferous material from Monte
Bolca is understood
to yield fine results under microscopic imaging.

Thanks for the information. I saw some Italian sites about Monte Bolca, and
it appears a marvel to behold. Unfortunately, it is some 1000 Km far from my
town.

Best regards

Tito
