I contacted both Zeiss and Nikon and both do not have any information onthe
paint for these microscopes. Zeiss support in NY called me and said thatthese
folks who were probably familiar with the process have all retired and
support for the GL was discontinued in 2000. All parts inventory for

That's how globilazation works: you bought it. You did your job.
Unfortunatly our former employees are retired. Some of them are sacked, the
cheapest way possible.
The advice given by our main sharholders is to buy a new microscope and to
put your piece of junk where it belongs: in the garbage bin.
That way, our shareholders will be able to provide a job for your schildren.
If this answer don't suit you... Too bad, but we don't care as long as our
shareholders value is competitive.
