Thank you, this has been very helpful. I am awaiting some price quotes
now. Ungluing the coverslip seemed a bit of a stretch but I wanted to
mention it in case it came up. Does anyone think that the adhesives
used for the specimens will be problematic in an SEM vacuum (ie, will
they outgas contaminants, or will they need a long time to outgas)? It
seems that most of the suppliers I've contacted use vacuum
impregnation, so I am thinking that it won't be a problem.
