What microscope?

I wonder if anyone can recommend a mircoscope for a mature beginner
and where to buy it from. I don't want to spend a lot of money but
would like a more robust one than a child's toy one. I would like to
have a bottom light on it. I am interested in botany, and geology.
Thank you
.
