Sorry to disagree,
but my advice would be to buy Zeiss.
They offer the microscope tool box (MTB), there are open-source and
commercial software avialable to operate the older Zeiss and the new
USB-connected.
I use both kinds of software on a 200M and we are about to buy an
observer for the same software-setup.
( µmanager and TissueFaxs)
