Neither one is worth a flip. Go to the Leica site, they make the best
histology stuff, and look at what they have to sell. Its not cheap
but it is good. Before I'd buy either 'tome I'd think through what I
want to do and consider things like paying some one to make slides or
buying good quality pre-made slides.

I'd like to learn how to make slides by myself: i've already many pre-made
slides! But, for a start, I cannot buy a high priced microtome!!! So, among
these less priced, what can I buy? One manual microtome is better then none!
