Re: Nikon Diaphot 35mm camera mount = Nikon F?

I don't have any experience with this scope, but the photo sure looks
like the mounted camera is a standard F series. That woul make sense,
as they have been pretty good about standardizing with the AI
interface for the past 4 decades (except for their stand-alone non-SLR
microscope camera - can't remember the model -M maybe?).

If that's the case, the lens mount would be the same. I have used my
manual-focus lenses on a D100 with good results.

Is the 35mm camera port on the lower part of this a standard Nikon F lens
mount? Which would make it compatible directly with current Nikon digital
SLRs which also use F mount?
