I don't recall if I saw a lead to this scope in this ng, or elsewhere, but
today I found a German microscope that was stamped "Junior" on the case.
It fits into a cylindrical brass case (about 40mm dia. x 140 mm long), and
when set up it rests on three legs that screw into the supporting body.
The single objective is actually 3 lenses that can be unscrewed individually
(like removing the top lens from a condenser). The ocular has a "3" engraved
on it.
With all 3 objective elements attached, the magnification is around 100x.
The images are pretty good for such a small device. The only issue I have
with it is that I can't find a way to remove the tube lens to clean the
lower surface.
I would post a picture of it, but don't have a site handy for that purpose.
Has anyone got any information about this scope? Age, manufacturer, etc?
Thanks,
Joe
Hi Joe,
I would recommend posting this to the Microscopy group on Yahoo.
You can post your pictures there.
