Thanks so very much for the lead. I believe it was what I had seen before, but
couldn't place it. My version looks identical to the one in the link that Selwyn
later mentioned:

rather than the scope that Selwyn had bought. His looks older, without the
chrome plating (or is that merely an artifact of the photo?).
It's great to know some of the history behind this little microscope.
