Crosshair reticle for Leica 10445111

Hello - how can I find what sized crosshair reticle I need for my
Leica 10445111 (on a Wild M3Z). Is it just a matter of using calipers?
Also, will I need a retaining ring? I have contacted klarmann, but
need the glass diameter.
