I think you're saying that I need a 20mm eyepiece,
the guy who sold it to me says I need a 23mm.
I don't understand. Here's the microscope I
bought on ebay, maybe this will help:

I bought a very similar microscope a year ago. It was sold as a
Bresser Biolux AL 20x-1280x.
The package included an aluminium ring (21mm int, 23mm ext,
16mm height) that was attached to the video capture device
named "PC-Ocular". (The PC-Ocular is part number 4, and the ring
is part number 4b.)
I can use this ring to adapt the 19.9mm eyepieces to the tube
without the Barlow lens.
The ring can fall into the tube so I put some adhesive tape
around it to make it wider.
A 23.1mm eyepiece from a another microscope works OK.
My microscope is still working, so I guess it must be quite "fool friendly".
Have fun with yours and you will learn a lot !
