Hello all,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on my previous posts. I am getting
better at this microscopy thing. My current plan is to interface a
digital camera (Canon powershot a640) to the microscope. I have the
necessary adapters. I have not been successful in getting any images
at all. When I look through the eyepiece, I have a nicely focused
slide. Things I have tried:
1. Put camera in Av (aperture priority) mode.
2. Turn off auto flash
3. Set manual focus to infinity.
4. Set zoom to maximum.
5. Set f-stop to 4.0 (this is the minimum it will go when camera is
fully zoomed out).
I see a nice white circle but nothing else. I am trying to take a
picture of the hemacytometer grid under 40X.
Anything else I can try?
I'd like to know what adapters you have. However try zooming camera
to the minimum.
Thanks
