I have a great Reichert Zetopan which I use often, but the fine
focusing tends to drift on me while I'm viewing. I've been tempted to
try to fix it myself but I'm afraid.
Is it simple to adjust the fine focusing on a Zetopan?
I would sure appreciate any information.
Thank you,
Frank
Just tighten the two larger screws in the fine focusing knobs a bit. Fine
focusing stifness of the Zetopan is regulated by the compression of two
small soft plastic rondelles. The only weak point in the design of those
beautifull microscopes.
Thank you very much! That worked perfectly!
Frank
