I have an M5 scope which has the focus mechanism, both screw and rack,
stripped. Does anyone have, or know of alternatives to, these parts?
Rack and pinion parts at mcmaster.com.
Various rack and pinion focusers and tracks at edmundoptics.com or
thorlabs.com.

Used mounts on eBay to cannibalize such a B&L Stereozooms show up
frequently.
Lock the scope and use a lab jack to move the stage instead. The lab jack
is not cheap but then you can use it for other things.
