Got it working

I removed the polarizer, soaked the bottom part of the condenser in benzine
(non-polar and not carcinogenic), applied brute force and got it working.
Now I've got to find a way to get the white painted numbers on it again.
By the way, the condenser has 2 polarizers rotating together, 1 foil and (at
the bottom) 1 prism-like. Anyone knows why? I guess I can do without the
bottom-one.
