Hi all,
Has anyone experienced to couple an infrared camera (aka thermal
camera)
in a microscope set to transmit infrared light (with cassegrain
objective)?
Is it possible then to have infrared imaging capability with same
spatial
resolution as with standard infrared microscopes ?
Thanks,
fredo
I would think so, but resolution is no better than the standard formula
using equivalent N.A. and the long wavelength. REM that warm objects
don't emit only at their peak emission band, but also some shorter waves
so maybe that can be selected for better resolution?
.
