Hi
Can anyone advise how the fine and perhaps coarse focus knob come off
the Leica DM LB and if so if within capability of a user to do.
There's a grub screw rattling around the inside of righthand fine
focus knob and can't figure out by inspection how to take knob off to
check. Doesn't affect focus but would like to get it back to how it
should be.
The holes in the coarse / fine plastic knobs seem to be access points
to Allen nuts on a central pillar rather than nuts in knobs
themselves.
Thanks for any help.
Ian
You will need a 1.3mm or 1.5 mm Allen wrench, which ever one works,
then loosen by 3 or so turns the screw. The screw sits on a flat spot
on the shaft so you have to get over that. Pull firmly and remove.
Let me know how it goes.
